The Arbitration Association (RAA) has published the model Procedural Order No. 1.
The procedural order No. 1 is a key document for any arbitration. It constitutes an agreement by the parties and arbitrators on the procedural ground rules, such as rules of submission of pleadings, order of notifications, procedural timelines, organisation of hearings, etc.
The model Procedural Order No. 1 should serve as a base for procedural orders No. 1 for Russian-language arbitrations. It targets to improve and facilitate practices of drafting procedural orders No. 1.
The working group drafted the text, discussed it during calls and approved the final text.
KIAP’s associates Rostislav Kats and Anastasiya Ryabova were actively engaged in the working group.
The working group’s lead was the Secretary General of the RAA Roman Zykov.
