Kiap attorneys at law lawyers have won a half billion case and collected in behalf of the client more than 280 million of penalty.

KIAP client, Russian Investment Company, during the bidding process, has got debt on the company’s sales credit agreement, which is on the list of one of the biggest banks in Russia.

Besides the efforts for debt calculation correctness, KIAP lawyers faced the necessity to deny causes for limitation of action terms and also to prove the penalty’s declared amount shortage. As a result, the court satisfied the claim and it charged a penalty in full in excess of 280 million rubles. 

The client’s interests in the project were represented by  KIAP partner Ilya Ischuk, head of practice Ilya Dedkovskiy , and a leading lawyer Sergey Ilin.
